If your phone is running Windows Mobile 6.0 or Windows Mobile 6.1 you can get Marketplace by following the instructions in the box below. If you have a Windows phone running Windows Mobile 6.5, Marketplace is already installed on your phone and in your Start menu.
For you in the United States just go to Download Windows Marketplace and enter your mobile phone number in the site. And for you not in USA just visit mp.windowsphone.com on your Windows phone.
I’m pleased to introduce a few much anticipated upgrades for Windows Marketplace for Mobile going live today. We introduced Windows Marketplace with the launch of Windows phones on October 6th and promised a second wave of features in November. Today, we’re adding more advanced anti-piracy protection and an improved developer portal for our registered ISVs, as well as introducing PC based shopping and account management for Windows phone customers.
